GOSPEL musician Mathew Ngosa has died after battling with liver cancer, his brother, BJ Ngosa, has confirmed.
Dr Ngosa said his brother passed away at around 13:00 hours at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) Cancer Diseases Hospital.
In an interview, Dr Ngosa said before his brother’s death, he was jovial, strong, and even partook in his daily holy communion in the morning.
“He was diagnosed with liver cancer earlier this year. We took him to India, and when we returned, he began undergoing chemotherapy. Yesterday, he was even doing some routine exercises as he usually did and drove around.
Today (Thursday), around 09:00 hours, he took holy communion as he did daily. However, afterward, he started feeling unwell, and we took him to the hospital,” he said.
Dr Ngosa said his brother died a happy and strong man despite his battle with cancer.
