IS the traditional marriage counsellors’ syllabus outdated? Are the Bana Chimbusa contributing to rising cases of depression in women? Well, Dr George Tafuna, a trained psychotherapist from Chainama Hills Mental Hospital, thinks now is the time to change the syllabus because “teaching outdated notions of submission to modern women who work and have financial independence creates issues”.
